To me, the strongest feature of a community is its ability to support, educate and entertain the next generation. That being said a city that has a lot of public parks, shows its love of family. West Plains doesn’t disappoint in this department. It has several parks with playgrounds, and areas for the kids to get their energy out and enjoy the social activities that come from being with children their own age, outside of the control of the school environment. As a kid growing up many of my fondest memories are of playing with kids for an hour or two that I never met before at the playground. My kids still love to go to parks and play. Because of this, I wanted to include the parks of the area on my website.
